Cades Cove, TN

What a wonderful time we had spending the day with Carl and Donna Wagner last Saturday.   We hiked a gorgeous path along part of the Little River.  Check out:

When is the last time you had a Picnic?    What fun!

Wildlife was abundant!    The predicted rains held off.    Perfect Day!

We explored Rebecca Cable’s 600 acre homestead.     A church and cemetery that dated back into the late 1800’s.   Whether you drive or hike around Cade’s Cove, it’s a great area to visit!

  1. Great pictures!! Why is everyone so serious in the picture…..No smiles?? Do we need to get you a tripod for your birthday so that you can also be in the pictures??

OH…..and good job — make sure you’re utilizing the “categories” function of blogging — I see this one was posted as “cuisine” when it clearly isn’t cuisine. Easy enough to fix — go into “all posts” and then do a quick edit on the post and you can change the labels.

  2. Thanks, Vansy! Actually I was trying to set the camera to take a ‘group shot’ – but apparently need to read “how to” to get that done!!! Still a new camera to me! LOL Tripod – nope, we have one with us! Categories changed as recommended.

  3. There should be a timer setting on the camera — usually really easy to set up and utilize. You could also probably get a remote that works. Which camera are you using??

  4. Janet, beautiful pics of Cades Cove. We love going there. So many whitetail deer and wild turkeys….and they don’t pay a bit of attention to all the crazy people trying to take pictures (us included, lol). Keep them coming!

  5. Janet. These are beautiful picture. I am going to show Mark. He would love the mountain creek and I absolutely love the sunset picture. I nabbed it and posted it on fb for others to enjoy. So glad you guys are enjoying yourselves!
